Considered to be a pioneer in the motherboard industry, the taiwanese company Gigabyte has decided to join the ultrabook market and announced the U2442 machines this year at CeBit show. Coming with a slim and light form factor, these two models U2442N and U2442V are portable machines with a simple yet stylish look and a weight of only 1.49Kg.
What about the hardware part? Both ultrabooks will be equipped with Intel’s third generation of processors Ivy Bridge class Core i5 or i7 options, GeForce GT 640M GPU, 2 GB of memory for an excellent gaming experience, a 14-inch screen resolution of 1600×900 pixels, up to 750GB of hard drive or you can opt for a speedy SSD, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and Thunderbolt(optional) 2T2R Double Antenna Wi-Fi and more.
